The Generali Prague Half Marathon, distinguished with the prestigious World Athletics Elite Label, is one of the most recognized and highly regarded half marathons in the world. Running the Prague Half Marathon means discovering one of Europe’s most beautiful cities one stride at a time. Its course is fast, flat, and scenic—perfect for those aiming to achieve a personal best or simply looking to enjoy an unforgettable experience. The route winds through Prague’s UNESCO World Heritage Site historic center and along the banks of the Vltava River, passing by some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

The Prague Half Marathon is an unforgettable experience that combines running with the most iconic sights of the Czech capital. Along the course, you’ll enjoy unique views such as Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, the Rudolfinum concert hall, the National Theatre, Vyšehrad Castle, and the famous Dancing House. The race starts and finishes at Bubenské Nábřeží, following the banks of the Vltava River along a route that winds south, east, and north. This layout strikes the perfect balance between a visually stunning setting and an accessible course—ideal for runners of all levels.

These events were selected for their excellence, being recognized as World Athletics Gold Label Road Races, hosting world record-breaking performances for the half marathon distance, or serving as venues for the World Half Marathon Championships.

The SuperHalfs circuit offers an exciting opportunity to combine world-class races with visits to some of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Completing the circuit comes with unique rewards from both the organizers and us.

The official currency in Czech Republic is the Czech Crown CZK, so if you are traveling from a country with a different currency, don’t worry as we have the perfect solution for you.

We can show you the easiest way to exchange the exact currency amount you need so that you don’t have to exchange large amounts to be able to travel or pay extortionate fees.

We also offer another option to use local ATMs without fees and pay in stores with the local currency. You can then exchange any remaining amount that you haven’t used back into your local currency so that you don’t have to spend it all before going back home.

The race is held on Saturday morning unlike what we are used to at other events, which makes planning the trip a bit special.
During the route there are several areas of cobblestones that will make you pay attention and modify your stride.

PAYMENT METHODS

Single payment: pay the total amount when the booking is confirmed.

Two installments: pay in 2 interest-free installments.

First installment: 25% when your booking is confirmed.
Second installment: remaining 75% 45 days after your booking is confirmed.

Three installments: pay in 3 interest-free installments.

First installment: 25% when your booking is confirmed.
Second installment: 50% 30 days after your booking is confirmed.
Last installment: remaining 25% 60 days after your booking is confirmed.

Four installments: pay in 4 interest-free installments.

First installment: 25% when your booking is confirmed.
Second installment: 30% 30 days after your booking is confirmed.
Third installment: 30% 60 days after your booking is confirmed.
Last installment: remaining 15% 90 days after your booking is confirmed.

* For bookings made less than 90/60/30 days before the date of the event, payment in installments may be subject to different terms or not be available.

Cancellations can be made in writing subject to the following conditions:

Registration

Personal, non-transferable and NON-REFUNDABLE, due to the rules of the event organizers. (109€)

Hotel

Until October 14th: the amounts paid shall be refunded without penalty except for a handling fee of 100€ per person.
From October 15th: cancellation shall incur a 25% penalty.
From November 15th: cancellation shall incur a 50% penalty.
From December 15th: cancellation shall incur a 75% penalty.
From January 15th: cancellation shall incur a penalty of up to 100% depending on the date of the request and our suppliers’ policy.

Flights

Airline tickets shall be reimbursed according to the booking conditions established by the airline.

At Travelmarathon, we understand that many runners prefer to arrange their flights independently for various reasons. That’s why we offer complete flexibility: if you decide to book your flights on your own, there will be no issue. However, if you’d like assistance, we’re more than happy to help you arrange them and include them in your travel package according to your preferences.

If you prefer to add flights to your package, all we need is your departure city and preferred time frame, and we’ll find the best option suited to your needs.

The airport to travel to Prague is Václav Havel Prague Airport (PRG) is an international airport and the country’s main airport and is located to the west of the city about 16km away.

It is well connected to the city by means of public transport and a taxi rank to get to the city. We recommend including private transfer in case the schedules are very early or late.

IMPORTANT:

Travelmarathon is not responsible for any changes to flight schedules announced by the airlines, as they may modify the information even after tickets are issued.

Ibis Praha Old Town is located in the heart of Prague, 328 feet from the old town. Na Porici, the main shopping street, is just a few steps away.
