Internet is the most powerful channel today in the age of technology where everyone has access to any service in the palm of their hand. For this reason, everyone wants to be present on this channel but you should follow some rules just like any runner trains for a marathon. If something is not done correctly it can determine the success or not of a business.

In our case, an SME which offer trips to international running events, our presence on the Internet is mandatory since it is the ideal way to reach our potential costumers, and this is you, the runners from around the world.

With a dynamic website and an active social networks, our goal is to continue expanding our sales channel with the aim to our product reaches the largest number of international runners, generating credibility with a safe and attractive online space adapted to the most languages in the world, and compete with the big ones in the sector in a short space of time.

Travelmarathon has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund whose objective is to improve the competitiveness of SMEs and thanks to which it has launched an International Digital Marketing Plan with the aim of improving its online positioning in foreign markets during 2021. This has been possible with the support of the XPANDE DIGITAL Program of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce.

The Program aims to support the online positioning of participating companies in a specific target market, through personalized advice in accordance with a modern methodology and based on competitive intelligence techniques whose ultimate goal is to offer the company an Action Plan of Digital Marketing in the target foreign market. This Program consists of 2 successive phases:

Phase I. Counseling

This first phase consists of a maximum of 50 hours of counseling by the Chamber of Commerce and 15 hours of research and analysis by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce that are developed throughout the Counseling phase, ending in the design of an International Digital Marketing Action Plan. The Chamber will assign a technical specialist in internationalization to the company’s project, who will be the person who will advise and accompany the company in the Program, with the support of the Knowledge Unit of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. At the end of it, the company will have a document that will collect its Digital Marketing Action Plan for the selected market.

Phase II. Aid for the implementation of the Action Plan.

In this second phase, a maximum budget will be made available to the company that it can dedicate to financing, charged to the Program, actions involving expenses included in the list of eligible expenses that are included in the Program agreement.
